Happy Friday! We've been having some seriously sunny and warm weather here in Northern California! On Wednesday, the high was 80 degrees! I was born in the Central Valley which is typically hot in the Spring and Summer months so I LA-LA-LOVE when the temperature gets above 68 degrees.

For a few years, I've had the same two sunglasses: a pair of Marc Jacobs wide sunnies and aviators from Banana Republic.

But this year, I wanted to try something new. I've seen so many fun styles come out that are totally not typically I would go for but I feel that I am in need of a makeover. I've had the same look for five years and am dying to do something new. I've been looking at new hairstyles, different wardrobe looks...and sunnies! I think sunnies can totally change the look and feel of your wardrobe.

I bought some of the sunnies from Forever 21 and am saving for the Dior's. I think that Forever 21 offers snazzy looking dupes of the real deals. Check out the Pink shades from Forever 21 and the black Karen Walkers (first row last set). They look allllllmost alike! Which ones are your faves?
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

The hubby's birthday is quickly coming up and I thought I'd share some of the things I'd been looking at for him. He really isn't into clothes. I give a little nudge here and there as to what looks good but he's pretty stubborn on all things fashion-y. He wears lots of blues, grays and black. The only green he'll wear is a Hieroglyphics shirt and an Oakland A's hat. He's also tall and lean so I have to make sure any dress shirts I buy for him are slim fitted...pants as well. Here are my picks... Anyone have a favorite?

I recently stumbled upon an Iphone app that has changed the way I shop. Ever heard of Poshmark? You can sell your items (take up to 4 pictures, add fancy filters and a brief description) in one sitting! As a buyer, you can barter the price, trade or pay the price given. Most of the items are priced decently but I've been able to barter all the purchases I've made for lower prices! The app is user friendly and convenient in that posting isn't a chore (unless you really hate taking pictures... but who doesn't like Instagramming and Iphoneing these days!) and paying through the app is crystal clear. As a seller, the app takes 20% from your purchase and they send you a package to ship your items to the seller.

I can find awesome deals on mainstream brands like J. Crew, Banana Republic and Gap. People also sell high end items like Christian Louboutin, Gucci and Prada... I must warn you...once you try it, you might become hooked.

Happy shopping!

(that's me @howlovelee! below are some of the beautiful items i'd purchased: Zara bubble skirt, a bib necklace from F21, and a beautiful green one sleeved dress)
